Alyssa works closely with Australian and overseas companies developing innovative medical technologies. She is a strategic intellectual property advisor experienced in drafting and obtaining patents in a range of areas including bio-instrumentation, medical simulation, cardiac and orthopedic implants, vascular devices, respiratory acoustics, neural stimulation, ocular intervention and a range of medical consumables. Alyssa’s experience enables her to deal with complicated IP issues, particularly those which are specific to the Medical Technology sector. Alyssa chairs the Victorian branch committee of AusMedtech and leads the Medical Technology focus group at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick.
