Registration for the 2010 Graeme Clark Oration, to be delivered by genomics pioneer and science superstar, Dr J Craig Venter, is now open.
The Oration will be delivered on Wednesday, 17th March, from 6pm-7 pm at the Melbourne Convention Centre, South Wharf, on the Yarra River.
Dr Venter’s lecture, From Reading to Writing the Genetic Code, will share his story in digitizing biology, how we are moving from reading the genetic code to create new synthetic species of life and the implications for global problems such a climate change. It is no wonder the Financial Times listed Dr Venter as one of the 50 people who most shaped the last decade!
The Graeme Clark Oration 2010 is a FREE public event.
PLEASE NOTE: registration is essential. Seats are limited. Delegates will be registered on a “first come, first served” basis.
